Set Pieces:

  • All set pieces are direct, meaning that you can score from a corner or free kick.

Discipline:

  • Referees can use cards to control the game. Red and yellow cards will be issued if necessary. A red card will mean the player is banned from the tournament.

  • Any fighting will not be tolerated and the player or team will be dismissed immediately from the tournament.

Penalties:

  • In the event of a penalty being awarded, time shall be added at the end of the game. The penalty taker is allowed no more than one step before striking the ball.

  • The keeper must remain on his line and not move until the ball is struck.

  • 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.

  • Top 2 from each group will progress into the knockouts.

  • If a team finishes on the same amount of points, it will go down to goal difference, then goals scored, then goals against. If this is the same, then a penalty shootout will take place to determine who goes into the knockout stages.

  • Knockout rounds will be 12 mins. 15 minutes for the final. If it finishes as a draw, then it will go straight to penalties.

  • Penalties in the knockout will have 3 takers from each side and if the score remains tied, it will go straight to sudden death.
